DeFi: The Gods! Mint Site Launch!
Hi everybody! There have been a lot of exciting updates in the world of DTG recently. We have gotten over 400 followers on Twitter and we now have well over 1k members in our Official Discord. We have been updating documents, including the whitpaper. Some changes have been made among our team too! We now have a new artist who has been creating and designing the PvP Dungeon! But, I think the most important update came last night…
DTG has officially released a hard mint site date!! That’s right everyone, having your very own champion is very, very close. The date set is February 28th, 2022. A specific time has yet to be chosen. Mint price will be as follows, 750 ONE for the first 1000 mints, increasing by 250 ONE after each interval of 1000 mints.
Im sure a lot of you are wondering what a Champion even is or what you can do with it. Champions are the official NFT collection of the Blockchain game, DeFi: The Gods! Champions are divided into 3 categories, DPS, Tank and Healers. 8 classes of Champion make up the 3 categories. The 8 classes are; Dark Monk, Mage, Ranger, Pirate, Cleric, Shaman, Knight and Barbarian. Each character will have unique attack moves suited to their class. All champions rarity will be based on the amount of crystals/crystal items your champion is minted with. 0 crystals or items will result in a common champion. While a mythic champion will have 4 crystals. Below is an example of some mints. The first Dark Monk is an example of a Legendary character because it has 3 crystals, while the Dark Monk just under the Legendary is a common because it has 0 crystals. The cleric at the very bottom would be uncommon because it has 1 crystal on its staff. A rare champion would have 2 crystals.
Having a rarer character will give slight stat boost to your character that will be carried with them throughout the entire game. The stats that get boosted depend on the class of the character. These boosts will be small and be most notable at the start of the game. The boost will become less noticeable as player ranks up and and start to equip armor, as most of their stat boosts will be from equipping weapons/armor.
Champions will also have a lot of utility. They will be able to fight each other and monsters as well as craft items and explore. Leveling up will be important in DTG because low level skills won’t be very helpful to your character. This brings me to my next point. There is no point in owning more than 1 champion. It will be difficult to fully level up your champion and unlock the whole map. Teamwork is an important aspect of this game, and there is no way 1 player can competently use 2 characters at once to get through more of the game “solo”. If we have people buying 30 Champions for no reason, that’s 29 other players that can’t join the game to help with bosses or quests. Champions will have a secondary market so it will be more than possible to sell your Champion and get one you prefer.
